WHAT

Bruno Blanchet, our distinguished globetrotter, is setting out again for new adventures…. This time, he puts his bags down in Namibia, a country as fascinating as it is little known. Far from the beaten track, it takes us to meet its inhabitants and offers us an immersion in their daily lives. With his colorful personality, his innumerable adventures, his original look, combined with his crazy humor; Mr. Bruno shows us the true face of Namibia.

WHERE

The filming for the entire season took place entirely in Namibia. Starting in Windhoek, the irrepressible crew made our way North to Ondangwa and Oshakati, then – on a whim – further west to Opuwo to visit the Himba, and then down the west coast to Walvis Bay and Swakopmund to uncover the contradictions of the German influences in this dry, African country.

HIGHLIGHTS

Besides having to take my liver for a detox after, this was prbably up there when it comes to unforgettable productions. Firstly, Namibia is without doubt one of our favorite estinations – the country is simply spectacular in its stark, unforbidding beauty.

Secondly, the crew ‘went with the flow’. All planning was done on the fly, so each day was a new adventure – that appeals to any fixer worth their salt (excuse the pun).

Thirdly, this was simply an amazing bunch of people who really enjoyed what they did, with no hierarchy. So everyone pitched in and that made for an amazing trip.
