WHAT

This is one of the biggest Dutch TV shows – it even has its own IMDB rating. This was the 13th season, and it was a slick, professional production with a team who knew what they were doing. An adventure reality show, the production started with 10 celebrity contestants who were gradually eliminated as the show progressed.

WHERE

The breadth of South Africa – starting in Johannesburg, then up to Limpopo, Mpumalanga, down to Kwazulu Natal – and then back to Johannesburg. 32 days of production, with challenging logistics……

HIGHLIGHTS

The Gouden Televisier-Ring for starters – the premier Dutch television award. After a decade of near-misses, we nailed it with this season. A big feather in our caps.

This was our first big breakthrough into the international market, and we came through with flying colours….

Big props – we are talking Dakota DC-3, Rovos Rail, and big riggings in both the Blyde River Canyon and the Sabie River Valley. Not to mention 100’s of candles in the iconic Pietermaritzburg City Hall.

We were asked by SA Tourism to assist, and it helped re-define our direction. As a result of the positive feedback generated, we have established ourselves firmly in the European market.
