WHAT
The production was an unique joint venture between internationally renowned conceptualiser Marcel Wanders, and Japanese brand Maison DECORTÉ to launch a distinctive spa concept worldwide.
WHERE
Production took place in 3 distinctive locations – to reflect the 3 brand properties. A forest, a lake/pond, and a field. All locations had to be in close proximity of each other, as well as Johannesburg. Shooting took place in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, using the beautiful Lekgalameetse Reserve as well as a section of the Treur River in the Blyde River Canyon area.
HIGHLIGHTS
This was an extremely tight deadline. From commencement of location scouting to crew arriving was 4 weeks, and this included 3 diverse locations, plus securing crew – and all of this over Christmas. We pulled it off and delivered 3 incredible locations and all the complex logistics (lighting, 12 vehicles on the road with 8 local crew)
