WHAT
Aljazeera’s ‘The Traveller’ is arguably the biggest travel programme on television, with over 40 million Arabic viewers around the globe. The programme takes the viewer on a journey through tourism destinations.
WHERE
THE TRAVELLER took us on a 3-week trip across South Africa, starting in Polokwane in the north, and culminating in Cape Town – passing through Johannesburg and the Garden Route.
HIGHLIGHTS
We had to cover big distances in a short timeframe. Weather was luckily kind to us. One of the big challenges was dealing with the post-COVID realities around travel – with limited access to flights and vehicles. Many highlights, including Great White’s off Mossel Bay.
