WHAT

Based on the location demands and the tight timeframe, it was decided (no-brainer) that Cape Town would provide the ideal backdrop. Locations used included Cape Town, Boulders, Camps Bay, Lllandusno Beach, Muizenberg, and the Salt River Film Studio.

WHERE

No time to lose was not just a race between contestants, it was also a race down the length of South Africa.

Location Mpumalanga – starting in the north, production took place in Waterval Boven, Graskop, Hazyview and the Kruger National Park area.
Location Johannesburg – always a wonderful place to film, with urban hip meets true grit!
Location Garden Route – shooting along the length of the Garden Route, including Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, George and Mossel Bay – and included the iconic Bloukrans Bungee
Location Cape Town – the series ended with a hitch-hike into Cape Town, with the fitting finale on Table Mountain.

HIGHLIGHTS

As we like it, the pressure came in turning around the project quickly – which included building all the props (a moon lander was part of the set) and securing all the locations and extras in a location that does not offer the most reliable weather forecasts. And as with every other project, we came out tops – watch the videos below and decide for yourselves!
